Shared Adventures would like to honor Dave & DeDe & Luke & Ryan Houghton, Ben McCready, Richard Patterson, and Terry Peterson during this year’s Day On The Beach on July 16. They will be greatly missed. In their honor, we will have a moment of silence and a wreath ceremony culminating with the blowing of a conch. The outrigger and kayak crews will paddle out to lay a wreath on the ocean for our honored comrades between 3:00 and 3:30 pm. We welcome the families and friends to join us andwould be honored if family members would like to join us in the Outrigger to launch the wreath.
I just wanted to let the family know that at Cub Scout Camp Towaba, which was held this past week, we flew the flag at half-mast every day at Camp to honor & remember the Houghtons. Ryan was signed up to attend Camp this year and was to be in my Den for the week of Summer Camp.
